El Dorado Developments, LLC se estableci\u00f3 en 2020 como una sociedad para suplir las necesidades de varios proyectos de desarrollo, originalmente iniciados por Dewhurst Group, LLC. El Dorado, junto con la empresa Induaqua, SAS, formaron en Colombia una nueva empresa llamada Trina SAS, para consolidar y administrar granjas de truchas en las que participa el propietario de Induaqua, y el Sr. Germ\u00e1n Barrera. Trina se enfoca en producir y exportar truchas producidas de manera sostenible en Colombia. El Dorado Developments, LLC es una empresa estadounidense y es el \u00fanico socio de Induaqua en Trina.<\/p>\n
Induaqua, a Colombian company, was formed by Mr.\u00a0Germ\u00e1n Alejandro Barerra in 2009 to concentrate exclusively on raising fish and promoting best aquaculture practices. Induaqua produces fish via five subsidiary farms that are owned fully or partially by Mr. Barrera or his family. Induaqua is the largest single farmed-fish producer in Colombia, and is Colombia\u2019s only fish exporter that has has qualified for Plan Vallejo, a specific tax-preference policy that confers a preferential duty rate on imported raw materials used to manufacture Colombian goods for export. Approximately one hundred people are currently employed by Induaqua.<\/p>\n

La misi\u00f3n principal de esta empresa es la producci\u00f3n de trucha arco\u00edris de alta calidad en las granjas y plantas de procesamiento de Induaqua. Sus instalaciones utilizan tecnolog\u00eda de punta que incluye nuevos sistemas de recirculaci\u00f3n de acuicultura desarrollados por la empresa RAS Chile. Aproximadamente 180 a 220 toneladas m\u00e9tricas de trucha son cosechadas y procesadas por las instalaciones de Induaqua mensualmente y el Sr. Barrera se ha asegurado el derecho exclusivo de utilizar un alimento noruego especializado y sostenible para peces (Cargill, Inc.\/EWOS) y de vender este alimento a otros productores de pescado en Sur Am\u00e9rica. La dieta EWOS de alta densidad cal\u00f3rica ha permitido aumentar la producci\u00f3n y mejorar la calidad del producto terminado, gran parte del cual se exporta en el popular formato \"Filete de trimado tipo D\" a los Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n

Este proyecto contribuye a los esfuerzos de resoluci\u00f3n del posconflicto colombiano de diversas maneras. Una de ellas es integrando a ex guerrilleros de las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC) y son empleados en las piscifactor\u00edas. Adem\u00e1s, muchos, si no la mayor\u00eda, de los empleados de las plantas de procesamiento de Induaqua son mujeres que fueron directamente afectadas por d\u00e9cadas de violencia en el pa\u00eds. Induaqua contribuye significativamente a los esfuerzos de resoluci\u00f3n del conflicto en Boyac\u00e1 y Antioquia. Estas zonas fueron sitios de violencia fuertemente afectados por la violencia. Trina tiene un gran inter\u00e9s en ser un actor clave en el cambio en la regi\u00f3n, donde el propio Sr. Barrera fue v\u00edctima del conflicto. Junto a Trina la familia Barrera ha decidido contribuir a una paz duradera para las personas en los p\u00e1ramos y en todo el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n
